What size hole do I cut for ridge vents?

The hole will depend on what ridge vent is used and what type of construction (truss or ridge pole) of the home. Refer to the instruction sheet for specific cut sizes. The cut recommended will be a TOTAL cut, not the cut you would make on either side.
WARNING - cutting the hole larger than the recommended size can result in weather infiltration.
